To get the best out of OSL Office Live take sometime getting to know how to get around the program.

But before you can do that let’s go through some of the basics;

Emails from OSL

These are important email address’ that you need to be able to receive emails from us, make sure that you can receive emails from our email accounts; Check your Junk email folder and make sure that you add to your whitelist or mark as safe sender.

To add an address or domain to the safe senders list in Outlook:

Email campaigns (eNews) are sent from mailer@osloffice.com. Make sure that your own email client can receive emails from these email accounts.

Understand where things are in OSL Office Live this means understanding the menu structure

On the left hand side of your is the main menu.


If a menu option has a > arrow then click on each menu to see the options.

You can minimize the menu by clicking anywhere under the menu


Pop ups

Turn off Pop Up blocker - Allow Pop Ups for the OSL Office Live website.

Must Do - Make sure that you enable Pop Ups when running OSL Office/Agent

This is the single most important change to make to your browser settings, otherwise you cannot Print!

You must enable pop-ups for OSL Office Live

If you have not enabled Pops Up you will see this message when you try to Print

How do you enable pop-ups ?

Each web browser works differently so start by searching the internet;

Open your web browser and go to a search page (Google or Bing )

In the Search box Type in

“How to enable pop ups + your browser name +”

Shortcuts

Having a Shortcut on your desk top or mobile devices makes your life easier!

Create a shortcut on your phone, tablet, laptop and PC.

No one wants to type in an address every-time you want to go to a website so if there is nothing else that you do today create a Shortcut on your home screen on all devices that you want to access OSL Office Live on more...



Ask Dr Google - How do i add a shout cut to my home screen


Start by asking 'Dr Google" How to add a short cut to my + device name + home screen using + browser

e.g.  How to add a short cut to my Samsung home screen using Chrome

Grammarly

We recommend that you turn OFF Grammarly when on the OSL Office website/program.  

How to disable Disable the Grammarly extension for the OSL Office Live website. Click the G button and toggle on /off the Check for Grammar and Spelling switch off. Grammarly will now be disabled for OSL Office Live.  Disable your adblocker for the OSL Office Live website.

Adblockers

If you are running an Ad block program or browser extension make sure that you disable when you are running OSL Office Live. There are no advertisements in the program but some Ad blockers may cause a problem.

Go to the login page for OSL Office Live and click on the Ad block icon and select the option to disable for this website.

*There are many different ad blocking services available, but all have the option to disable for a specific website.

What's new

To see the latest program changes click on the present button, top right of your screen 

We are always excited, probably more than we should be! about the new things that we have changed, added or fixed.


Click on the News  button to see the latest program changes and updates to OSL Office.

The number beside the new button is how many news articles that you have not read !

Click on the News link to see our latest changes

Open a news article, and this will stop the News button flashing!
