Map pins and listing portals
When you send a listing to the portals (Domain, realesate.com.au, Trade Me, realestate.co.nz, OneRoof ), the map pin you've set in OSL goes with it, exactly as it is.
That way, each portal shows the property in the same place you see it in OSL.
To protect listings from a misplaced pin, a pin is only sent if it's inside Australia, New Zealand, or Fiji. If a pin has ended up somewhere it shouldn't (out at sea, overseas, or at 0,0), it isn't sent, and the portal places the listing from its address instead. If a listing is showing in the wrong place, check its pin on the map in OSL and drag it to the right spot, then save the listing to send it again.
Your "Show address" setting is respected on every portal.
Business listings never send a street address
On Trade Me, if the address is hidden, neither the street address nor the map pin is sent, so the listing shows at suburb level only.
Trade Me rule. Trade Me gets the pin only when all three are true: pin inside NZ , show address is True and its not aByuisness lsiting. Trade Me needs the extra two conditions because it has no "hide address" flag in its feed. All other portals have one, so they get the pin every time and do the hiding themselves.
