This is where you add your advertisements to your Promotion.

You add the advertisements to the Promotion on the Promotion Advertising tab.

Adding an Advertisement 

Select the promotion > Advertising tab and click on the new button

Adding advertisements to your Promotion is a 2 step process; Selecting your Publication and then selecting the Advertisement.


Step 1. Select the Add  button and then Select the Publication from the drop down list.


In this example I have chosen ABC signs, 

Step 2. Select the Advertisement that you want to use.



Now that you have selected a publication & Advertisement you can save to your Promotion.

The amount of the advertisement will be pulled in from what you have loaded for the Advertisementsiment in Settings > Office Publication Advertisement settings


Booking Date

The Advertisements without a booking date are displayed in red until you set a Booking date. Any Advertisements that do not have a booking date will not be charged



Click on the Save button and the Advertisement will be added to your Promotion.

By default, all Advertisements are allocated to the Vendor, but you can allocate part of the cost to the Agent on the Promotion and or the Office


If you allocate a portion of the Advertisement to the Agent this will appear on the Agents pay statement.

It is not uncommon for the Office to contribute to the marketing of a listing.  Even if the Vendor is not paying for all of the advertising you may still want to show the other Advertisements that the office is paying for.

An example might be the office printing of flyers or the company website.


If you need to split the advertisement across the Vendor, Agent and the Office you must always total to the charge amount of the Advertisement 


Adding a Package to your Promotion


A Package is a collection of Advertisements.


Using a Package makes creating your Promotion easy and you are less likely to miss any advertisements.


Example packages might be; Auction package or a Sole Agency package. You can create any number of packages.


Office Settings > Promotions tab

Select the New button and select the Package option then select the Package from the drop down list.

Click on the Save button and the items for the Package will be added to your Promotion.

After you have added the Package you can still add/remove/edit items Advertisement


You can select the booking date before Saving or leave blank but you will still need to set the advertising or booking date for each advertisement.
