We don’t encourage sending attachments because people may not download or open your attachment.
Using the eNews templates will send html formatted emails so the recipient does not have to download any attachments.
If you do use an attachment be careful that the size of your attachment. Many email clients and mail servers will block email with large attachments.
Solution
1. add News page to your OSL website with a link to the pdf file
2. In your eNews add a link to the news page on your website , the recipient receives your email and then clicks on the link to view the article page/pdf
Only the Blank eNews template allows you to send an email with an Attachment
Uploading an attachment with a file already in the attachment folder will over write the existing file.
Copy a campaign
Use the Tools button > Copy button to create a copy of a previous email campaign
The campaign template and email message is copied to your New campaign.
The Contacts are NOT copied across. This is to allow more people to be added to a group and to make sure you do not send and eNews to a client that has unsubscribed.
On the Contact > Activity tab the email campaigns that you have sent to them are shown.
Draft
Use the Tools button > Draft button to change a Queued campaign back to Draft. So you can make further changes.
Delete
Use the Tools button > Delete button to delete a eNews campaign.
Duplicates
If you select multiple Contacts with the same email address only 1 email will be sent.

You can also choose to send using your Office signature or any Agent in your office
Office users - make sure that you select the correct Agent that you want to send this email from .

This is a powerful feature, even if you are not the listing Agent your details will still be displayed on the OSL website.
People first
If you want to send a campaign to just a few people. Find the people first and then click on the eNews button, enter your eNews title and click Save & Edit.
Test your email
Use the Test email button to test your email first.
- Merge fields are not merged when sending test emails
- Attachments are not sent with test emails
Make sure that you can receive emails from mailer@osloffice.com
Too many listings
Don't send every listing in the office to your contact database, this will only get a large number of people clicking on the Unsubscribe button!
Understanding the Enter key
In the web world the Enter key on your keyboard creates a new paragraph, so after using the Enter key it looks like a large gap between your lines. (In the MS Word world the Enter key goes to the next line)
ANS: Hold down the Shift key + the Enter to go to the next line
Unsubscribe link
The 'show unsubscribe link in your email' is set to display. This gives the people receiving your email the option to Unsubscribe and be removed from further email campaigns. This is an Automatic process when the recipient chooses to unsubscribe, you do not have to do anything yourself.
Manual unsubscribe
Sometimes you may receive an email or phone call to unsubscribe someone. (They haven't clicked on the unsubscribe link in the email)
Open their details People > and select the Email address and the Edit button
Now click the Unsubscribe checkbox
