The Finder template page is one of the most complex templates that you can use on your website. Turn on the Finder page on your website to allow visitors to your website to sign up to receive new listing emails .

Visitors to your website can signup on your OSL website to receive emails with your latest listing, we call this Finder.
The Finder page works by adding the visitor to your contact database with their target requirements.
Each day OSL runs a service at 6am NZST that will send all buyers signed up to Finder an email with any new matching listings from the previous day.
What happens when a visitor signs up to Finder
- A new contact/visitor is added to your office contact database if the email address is not already in your office database.
The persons email address is used to to check if they are already in your office database.
- A Finder Activity is added to the contact
- The visitor is added to the system contact Group Buyer- Prospect
- As well as the system Group Finder
Only new listings on your office website will be sent since the last time Finder ran. If the listing is Available but not on your website the listing will not be sent.
How do I find all people that have subscribed to Finder
If you want to see who has started or finished go to People > Search activity
Can I manually add/remove someone to receive finder emails?
Yes - add the contact to your database and select the OSL website Finder option on the Details tab
How do I setup Finder for a multi office company?
If you company is a multi office, you will need to set the default office for Finder people to be added too. Website settings > Pages tab > Finder template - select your default office.
Notes
- See how many emails are being sent in Dashboard > Website tab
- To send out a Listing again, remove the Listing from your website, save and then add back to your website, this will send the listing out again as a new listing.
- If a contact has been marked as Inactive and then signs up for Finder they will be added as a New Contact
