Do’s and Dont’s
Firstly don’t worry, you do not need to know all of the features of your website before you start using it, we understand that you are in the business of selling real estate not managing a website. So if you do not remember how to do something or are not sure just ask the OSL support desk.
Customized OSL website
If you are running a customised OSL website you should contact the OSL help desk before making any changes. With a custom website many of the options available in the Admin area may not work or at the very least may not work as expected.
- Always consider how your website will appear on a mobile device.
- The Admin section of your OSL website is designed for a full size screen. Do not try and make changes to your website using your phone.
- It best to make any changes to your website using the Chrome browser.
What we want for your website;
- Enhanced company internet presence - your "online store front"
- Quality lead generation
- Quality listing information ‘the authority to a visitor about a listing’
- Two way activity/communication between your website and your CRM database
Getting Started with your OSL Website
For a start, you will receive a template website that will not seem very informative about your business. The idea is that after you have finished adding different features and pages to your website, you will have the website that you have imagined.
Once you have logged on you will have access to the settings of your website, select each tab to see what you can do;
If you are unsure please do not make any changes unless you know what you are doing. If in doubt please contact the support desk
Clear Cache
Images are cached in your local browser on your device or PC. This means that image changes may not immediately appear on your website. Reload the page that you have changed multiple times to get the images to update.
If you are making lots of changes to your website we suggest that you install a Clear Cache extension to your web browser.
