What is a Call Manager?

ANS. Call Manager is used to manage your outbound phone calls.


Call Manager was created because we understand how difficult making outbound phone calls is. So the least we could do is create an easy system to manage the calls and follow-up activities.


A Call Plan is a list of Contacts in your database that you are going to call. As you call each person in your list Call Manager keeps track of who you have called and what actions you have taken.


Salespeople have a 75% higher rate of prospect engagement when they are calling as opposed to emailing, and 90% of the final conversations that happen directly before the close happen on the phone, not over email.

That’s why we created call manager

Call manager lets you organise your phone lists and easily keep up to date with the calls that you have made and need to make.

Example phone lists

  • A list of your past customers
  • Contacts within an area
  • Contacts that you have sent an Email campaign
  • Contacts within a Group or Groups
  • Office Live users can only view your own Call Manager plans.


Creating a Plan - Step 1

You create a plan for any group of Contacts in your database that you intend to call. You can search for a Group or filter your Buyers. You can create a Plan with any list of Contacts. 

Select Tools> and then The Call Plan button


Running a Call Plan

People menu > Call Manger 

Go to your Call manager page and select the Call Plan that you want to run.

Select the Plan that you want to run and click on the Run button.


This is the first contact in your call plan list.

You can see all of the information about each Contact on each of the tabs.

Now ring them! Enter the result of your call and Enter the conversation outline when finished click on the Save & Next button.

Edit Contact details

You can select the Edit button to Edit the contact

or use the edit button beside the name



At any time you can finish. When you come back to your plan you will start where you left off.

Tips & Tricks

  • Set aside a set amount of time each week to do your phone calls. 
  • Don’t set yourself a fixed number of calls rather use a fixed time limit. 
  • Rejection from a person in your database is not fun but quickly mark them as inactive and move onto the next person in your call plan 
  • Make yourself feel better knowing that your database just got that little bit better in quality!
